I Honestly Love You
Oh, snickerdoodles. Why must you taste so good?
This is why I only make them once a year.
They are my favorite part of my Christmas baking. Today alone I finished making 5 kinds of cookies. I made the dough in advance and baked off 5 kinds. I have three more kinds to make on Wednesday, just in time for my company's Christmas party on Thursday.
On Wednesday, I will try to mail several tins of cookies off to some of you. I have several tins that are designated for bloggers. Who wants one? If I don't already have your address from the Holiday cards, email it to me at Amanda234 at gmail dot com, and maybe I'll send you some.
Tonight, I am having a dinner of snickerdoodles and wine. I am super classy. Then, I will go see I Am Legend. More on that tomorrow.

OMG I LOVE snickerdoodles! If I was going to be home, I'd totally beg.
*sigh*
I'll be three states away from home.
thanks anyway. ;-)
I cannot *WAIT* to hear what you have to say about I Am Legend, even if you hate it.
Snickerdoodles and wine? Those finishing classes really paid off!
Tug- I've eaten like half of them anyway, I don't have many left to share
Poppy- I definitely didn't hate it
Mr. Fab- My mother is so proud
Darn it, I knew I was forgetting to make something. Now I need to bust out the baking crap again.
ADW- you had a lot of cookies to bake, it's easy to forget one. But snickerdoodles are important.
snickerdoodles officially replaced my favorite cookie of all time (aka "the sugar cookie") a couple of years ago. I had one and said "WHAT IS THIS CALLED?!?!?!?" and have loved them since.
Erik LOVES those...too bad I can't cook.
I never heard of snickerdoodles until I coached in a league where the teams were named after cookies... and my team was, yup, the Snickerdoodles.
It's pretty awesome to yell "Snickerdoodles, line up!" in my best Coach voice.
whall: they are amazing
Robin: cooking's not for everyone, especially baking. I'm happy to send you some if you like
Rich: that is awesome
The first time I'd ever heard of snickerdoodles was Veronica Mars. How weird is that?
Avitable: Veronica Mars was a wealth of knowledge, eh?
That it was.
